About
Hannah is the owner and artist behind Augusta Handmades. Based in Portland, Oregon she recognizes that she occupies unceded lands of the Multnomah, Chinook, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and other indigenous peoples. She is forever inspired by the mountains, wildflowers, and water bodies across the West.
She thanks everyone who purchases her earrings for choosing to value slow-crafted handmade goods and a woman-owned business.
Earrings for the Environment
A minimum of 5% of all sales are donated to non-profit grassroots environmental protection organizations and mutual aid funds with an emphasis on environmental justice work.
Donations thus far:
Over $2000 has been donated to environmental organizations, including to Northwest Environmental Defense Center, OPAL (Environmental Justice Oregon), Indigenous Environmental Network, Asian Pacific Environmental Network, Beyond Toxics, and Verde. Other donations have gone to Minnesota Freedom Fund, the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Fires Igniting the Spirit, and abortion access funds in recognition of the intersection between social justice and the environment.
